Java Village is supporting the development of the village learning centre (Rumah Belajar Cisago), which gives support to youngsters in many different fields. It started as a basic computer class to help (former) pupils from the elementary and seco,ndary school. Now besides providing courses in extended computer skills and English, there are also regular gatherings to help the youngsters, male and female, with issues regarding their young adult (working) life. Java Village follows and supports this youth project focussed on empowerment and we believe it will help the young adults to get off to a good start with their adult life in a society with so many challenges.
